The weight is steady at 230 pounds and, there were no workouts except for Monday! 😦 Fortunately, crawling around for a half an hour in each of the 10 attics I was in this week, was just about all the exercise I could take!!!!

Since I felt so badly about only training one day this week, I moved 5K Friday to Saturday. The results were better than I thought! Using the Jeff Gallaway method, I was able to run 3 miles in 32:40 minutes! Almost a 10 minute mile pace, which is what I am going for! The only bad part is that my right hip started to hurt right around the 2.8 mile mark. I attribute that to the weeks worth of crawling around in attics. My legs are bruised and so are a few areas of my back. The even more exciting part is that I had two instances of “goosies”!!

This was a light, all in one, whole body workout where every muscle group gets worked. I used to do this on Saturday as it usually takes away any soreness from the weeks workouts.

Next week starts the running in the “real world” and I am hoping that it will be better than the treadmill. Once again, I decided to try something new and closed my eyes for a second. I nearly fell off the treadmill!

Today, Marshall and I are going to go to Lowes as we need chemicals for the pool. We have been getting tons of rain and this has thrown the balance out of whack on the pool and before it turns green, I’ll save it! Then we will have a little picnic on the back patio after I remove a deceased, unwanted visitor, a dead possum or “pasta” as Marshall calls it!

Sunday, weather permitting, I will try to improve my golf game…which shouldn’t be too difficult!!
