Today is a leg workout and a run on the treadmill.

The treadmill workout was a breeze. No pain, no being out of breath, and it appears as though, the “goosies” occur at the 1.5 mile mark! Is this the “runners high” I have heard about? ­čÖé

My right knee has some slight pain as I actually did a few more reps than what is posted on the leg press machine to send a not so subtle message to the woman who was on the machine for 25 minutes using a whole 50 pounds, while gabbing on the phone and/or watching TV. No offense ladies, but I think you should have your own equipment in a┬áseparate┬áarea of the gym…┬ápreferably, two blocks away! ­čÖé I’ll have to make a┬áseparate┬ápost with regards to my “observations” while at the gym. I often wonder how some people even made it to the gym!

The remainder of the week will be filled with golf Friday morning, a three-mile run Saturday and Easter dinner on Sunday. The three-mile run is a “preemptive┬ástrike” as I know, weight gain is imminent!

While on┬áthe┬ásubject of weight…..I was greeted by┬áthe┬áscale fairy this morning and the weight is 231 pounds! That makes 10 pounds lost….5 of┬áwhich┬áI am sure will return┬áSunday┬ánight! I may forgo the Monday morning weigh-in! ­čÖé

    • It is too late!!!! Easter has put a damper on my diet!!!! Monday should be a fun day at the gym. : )
