Wednesday..The cold and/or gluten strikes! :(

The treadmill portion was a struggle to get through. I had trouble breathing, was bloated, and just felt like crap. I did manage to run most of it and also got to 2.5 miles. I am trying to run 3 miles every other day and then on Fridays, up that to 5 miles. I am currently looking for a 5K to participate in to get a good indication of where I am at actually running an event. Starting next week, I will also start running a mile or more at night. I will be tracking various routes in the neighborhood so as not to get bored. I had thought that just running and looking at the sights would be fine, but I am going to need something to keep my pace steady. Counting one,two, three, four, a million times is getting boring! Maybe I should run with my guitar!

A through scan of everything I ate yesterday revealed that no gluten was present, so, at least that isn’t the problem. On the other hand, I am suffering from the same illness that kept Marshall out of school for two days. Sore throat, headache, etc. Fortunately, he didn’t have strep-throat or meningitis, just a virus. I am assuming that by the end of the week, this issue will be cleared up.

Tomorrow will be the last blog entry for the week until Sunday night as we are celebrating Easter with friends and family, so there will be no time for the blog. I could do it on the phone, but by the time I finish, it will be next week!
