As you can see, still hovering around the 1,500 calorie mark. The carbs got a little bit high, but, still under 30.

When on the Atkins Diet, at least the induction phase, your body goes into ketosis. There are test strips to determine the level that you are at. Right now, the tests strips are a dark purple, which is he highest level and also the most conducive to weight loss, without depleting muscle. I suspect after the 5K race today, I should weigh 234 pounds, a 7 pound loss for week one.
