As you can see, the calorie count was up to 2,044! You will also note that there is no caffeine present. Caffeine, contrary to popular belief, is not a stimulant. It provides a short burst of energy, but, has an equally effective “downside”. Very similar to cocaine..only without the nosebleeds! 🙂

This mornings weight is 235, six pounds lost this week! Actually, after mowing the lawn yesterday it was 234, but as my friend Jay says ,”I was retaining water”!

Today is a light workout along with cardio. As I will be participating in the 5K run tomorrow, I want to save something for the race!

Unfortunately, I deleted the treadmill sheet!

But the very good and exciting news is that the Saucany shoes are perfect! At long last, I was able to run on the treadmill for 15 solid minutes and my average pace was 13 minutes, with little pain and no cramping of my calves! 🙂 This is a very exciting development for me as now finally, all of the discouraging results over the past year can be washed away!

There is slight pain in my left knee, but nothing to worry about.

For the 5K run tomorrow, I plan on walking and jogging somewhere around a 15 minute pace. If I can do that, I should be well on my way as now it will be just a matter of building up endurance, which for me, comes very quickly.
