I decided to go to the gym and either the knee will get worse or better. If it gets worse, well, then I guess we will just have to fix it. I did 15 minutes on the treadmill and actually ran quite a bit of it at times averaging a 13 minute mile. That is a long way from an 8 minute mile for 13 miles, but, I am just starting out. The knee loosened up and now there is no pain. More good news, the calf cramping problem seems to be manageable and I suspect, will probably get better with time. I was able to change the way I run for a minute or two and then I could keep going and no cramping. The Asics are doing their job, but, they are two small. Two of my left toes fell asleep! I have a set of Saucany shoes on the way. Speaking of which, how is it that a letter takes four days to get from one city to another city that is one mile away when a set of shoes can come from Lexington KY to Florida in one day?

Here is the readout from the treadmill:

They could have made the software converted into an excel table..I have to teach these guys everything!

And, as usual, I have to fix someones work! 🙂

The readout didn’t work on the stationary bike.

Today was also back and shoulder day and those exercises will be posted tomorrow.

Tomorrow is going to be cardio and finally, my first leg workout since I tore my calf muscle last year!

Hopefully, all goes well!

Never the less, one day is pretty impressive! 🙂
If I remember correctly, doesn’t Paul have the Saucany shoes? If he does, how does he like them?
